    Instrument is not supported by repository

    hello, i am new user of ninjatrader. earlier i used amibroker. i have some old data in amibroker 1 minute format. have converted it to ninjatrader format. but now when i try to upload it, i am getting error Instrument is not supported by repository.


    can anyone help me. thank you. waiting for reply.

    What is the file extension for this historical data?

    You will want to ensure that your historical data files conform to the standard outlined in the 'Understanding import file and data formats' section of the following help guide article:

    Importing Historical Data

      thanks for reply sir, i have read all instruction of importing historical data section. have data in that format only and extension earlier was .txt but than i changed it to .last.txt and still i am getting error.

        Hello,

        Thanks for that information.

        Capitalization is going to be important for these file names. Could you please rename the file, for example '$EURUSD.Last.txt' (as opposed to '$EURUSD.last.txt') then try importing again?
