Indicator questions

please answer these 2 questions:
1) is there any way from indicator/NinjaScript to see to what value does the current settings of "quote currencies (FX)" is set currently?
2) Is there any way from indicator/NinjaScript to change (or set for the current indicator) that value, specifically for this indicator instance?

I am not sure what you are asking here, are you asking if you can manually type in a value for an indicator? In NinjaScript an indicator can change its own plots, is this what you are asking?

There is not a specific documented NinjaScript property for this item.


I moved this into its own thread as it seemed unrelated to where it was originally posted. It also looks like this made it into the NT8 sub forum instead of the NT7 sub forum. I did see that this was originally posted in the NT7 forums and will provide answers for NT7 until I can move this.

Jesse, i've updated question. please move this into NT7 forum.

the question you couldnt udnerstand, was related to the value of that setting. I meant, if there was any way to set the "quote currencies (FX)" value to any desired (from 3 available values). so, customer won't be forced to set the settings in NT, instead, the indicator could do that "for it's instance".

i dont know if my question is not clear..

Thank you for clarifying.

In that situation it would be a manual setting up to the user. This is not able to be controlled from the indicator level by any documented means. This is also removed going forward with NT8 in case you plan to migrate this item to NT8 this concept will be removed.
