Connection problems

I am getting an NT 7 login failed message: Unable to connect to the remote server. Data feed is CQG. I have and am using a Live Direct key.

As I am getting through to other websites incl NT's, I am wondering whether there's a problem with one of your servers.

Now I've got a connection alright but a huge data data gap starting at about 10am (Chicago time).

Hello sandman,

I've tested the CQG live and demo servers and both are up and ready for connections.

We do not have reports from any other clients about not being able to connect.

To troubleshoot this, I recommend the following steps:

• Restart your internet modem, and (if a separate device) router, and also restart the Computer
• Ensure exceptions have been added into any firewall/antivirus/backup programs for the (My) Documents/NinjaTrader 8 folder
• If you are not already and the option is available to you, I highly recommend connecting to the internet using an ethernet cable. Wireless connections are significantly more unreliable
• If the above steps do not help, contact your ISP and let them know you are experiencing a highly unstable connection to address: cqgtrader.com. An issue of connectivity may exist on their end

If you are seeing gaps in the data, right-click the chart -> select Reload All Historical Data.
