    Ic sharp error code.

    While opening my charts, some of the data seems to be missing. This happens often and quite frustrating. The entire overnight session is missing and only shows the last current price represent only. I have attached the error message below.

    I also switched instruments than switched back to my instrument in question and still the same. And I deleted the instrument expiry in the historical data folder and still the data is missing

    I also went into NT& documents and went in db folder and deleted tick data minute cache day folders. and still the same.

    Please advise.

    Can you please clarify the following items?

    * What version of NinjaTrader are you using? Please provide the entire version number. This can be found under Help -> About (Example: 7.0.1000.X or 8.0.X.0)

    * Who are you connected to? This is displayed in green on lower left corner of the Control Center window.

    * What instrument (and expiry if applicable) have you selected?

    * (For a chart) what interval is selected?

      NT7 using 64 bit version 7.0.1000.37(Live)


      connected to Rithmic for NInjatrader Brokerage .. instrument cl 7-18.. using 34 range , 13 range , 5 range charts

        Hello denalek2419,
        Can you please remove your historical data and test if you receive this error with new data?

        To remove your historical data please follow the steps below:

        Close NinjaTrader
        Open the Documents\NinjaTrader7\db
        Select all folders then right mouse click and select 'Delete' or move these folders to the desktop
        Please do not remove the file labeled NinjaTrader or NinjaTrader.sdf
        Open NinjaTrader and connect to your data provider

          I did this 3 times already and it doesn't remedy the problem

            OK. It decided to work after the fifth time. Why does this happen ? What causes this? This type of error of missing data does not make me trust the data.

            It seems to have fixed itself.

              Hello denalek2419,
              There are few items that may cause this error such as connection based, but there has been I direct connection with PC clocks. I would recommended syncing your PC clock at this time.
              Please use the steps below to change/check your Time Zone and sync the PC clock:

              Close NinjaTrader.
              Open the Windows Control Panel
              Select Date and Time
              Press 'Change time zone...'.
              Set the time zone and press 'OK'.
              Click on Internet Time tab.
              Set the server to time.nist.gov and then click Update.
              Ensure to check for a message under the Update button that says it was successful.
              If it did not properly sync, even after a few tries, try manually setting your PC clock and then syncing.
              Your PC clock should now be updated.

                OK thanks.. But the PC clock was already set to the correct time zone and nist.gov internet time.

                still not sure why these glitches happen.
