    Hide candlesticks for volume profile?

I've searched but could not find an answer to this. How can I create a chart that only shows the order flow volume profile but not the candlesticks?

    Hello Dagamos,

    Thanks for writing in.

Setting the candlesticks to 'Transparent' will accomplish this. To do this, right-click the chart, go to Data Series, and set the color for 'Candle outline', 'Candle wick', 'Color for down bars', and 'Color for up bars' to Transparent.

I've provided a link below with more information:

Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.

Is there a way to hide the candle sticks using a shortcut hot key?

          Hello BigRol00,

Thank you very much for your post.

The NinjaTrader platform does not have a pre-set hotkey to hide the data series itself.

The closest in this regard I am aware of would be the "Toolbar To Toggle On/Of Drawings, Indicators, Trade Markers, And Wicks" add-on, which is available on our NinjaTrader Ecosystem website:Here is a basic guideline of how to import NinjaScript add-ons in NinjaTrader 8:

Note — To import NinjaScripts you will need the original .zip file.

          To Import:
          1. Download the NinjaScripts to your desktop, keep them in the compressed .zip file.
          2. From the Control Center window select the menu Tools > Import > NinjaScript Add-on...
          3. Select the downloaded .zip file
          4. NinjaTrader will then confirm if the import has been successful.

Critical - Specifically for some NinjaScripts, it will prompt that you are running newer versions of @SMA, @EMA, etc. and ask if you want to replace, press 'No'

Once installed, you may add the indicator to a chart by:
          • Right-click your chart > Indicators... > Select the Indicator from the 'Available' list on the left > Add > OK

Here is a short video demonstration of the import process:
I suspect it might also be possible to create a script that hides the complete data series. If you are interested in learning more about this, please don't hesitate to let me know, I could then ask our NinjaScript Team to assist in this case.
