The color of moving average re-paint it self.

    Hi,

This moving average will change it color as value changes, when value is increasing it show different color, as value deceasing it will show different color.

The problem is, sometimes the charts show wrong color change, if you scroll left or right it keep changing the colors.

But most of the times its correct color change, just that certain bars, it fails to show the right color or show wrong color if scroll left or right. And this error applies to all charts with the same indicator.

Refer to the picture file for further details, whats the problem. Actually if you compare between 2 picture files, there is few of errors when comes to color change. I just show 2 errors.

And this indicator does not have any error while compiling it.

Hope NT take alook into this problem as this could be a misleading information on chart, and its kindna serious problem for me.

    Thank you in advance

Is this your own custom programmed indicator? Have you checked that the logic is as would expect?

Yeah, its my own custom programmed indicator, and i just followed the simple coding instruction from help manual at ninja trader website.

All i coded was, if value increasing display green else display red, that was my logic for this indicator. Like i said, it works on most bars, just that on some bars, it fails, just like the attachments that I've posted.

      Hope i answered your question..

      Thanks

          Hi,

Sorry to reply late. I'm sorry, I've deleted the indicator because its not reliable at all. Maybe you can create a simple moving average indicator that will show color change on the chart and test it out for your self if its reliable or not and keep us posted on your results.

          Thanks

              Hi,

Oh man, looks like i shouldnt have deleted the indicator, hmmm... but did you create the moving average with multi-colored plots? If it works on your side, then something wrongs with my coding.. I'm sorry to take your time, my bad.. I'll try to re-code again once im free.

Thanks for your support, great work here.

                Hello,

You are welcome. Gald I could help.

I have created lots of multi-color plots, so I know it works as expected.
