missing data?

    missing data?

    I was downloading historical data for ES instrument and lost internet service. I clicked on "abort" and nothing happened so I closed and save program. NJ7

    when internet returned I rebooted computer and opened NJ7 and the es charts had time candles and data working live but one of my indicators that works based on past data is blank,. will not work even if I make a new chart.

    it works on all other instruments except ES and that was the only one I was downloading historical at the time of data loss

    Could you please send the log and trace from your platform to look further into this inquiry?


    To send me your log and trace files from within NinjaTrader. Go to Control Center-->Help-> Mail to Platform Support in NinjaTrader. Put 'Att Shawn', in the subject field and enable 'Log and trace files'.


    Also, give a reference of this thread in the body of the email.

      Shawn I just tried to send it says my mail client isn't setup properly sorry any other way ?

        Thank you for your post.


        Please try to use the steps below to send an email to platformsupport [at] ninjatrader [dot] com with your log and trace files included as an attachment to the email, so I may investigate this matter further.

        • Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
        • Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
        • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
        • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.



        Put 'Att Shawn', in the subject field and enable 'Log and trace files'. Also, give a reference of this thread in the body of the email.

          I sent 2 e-mails had trouble with first on compressed folder and was able to fix in second on sorry for any inconvenience
