Global crosshair problem after installation of new update...

I installed the newest version of NT and now the global crosshair is not working, I tried restarting NT and it did not fix the problem. Any suggestions?

I take that back I just tested it again, if I turn the global crosshair on on BOTH charts it works but this is not the way it used to be I only want it on with one chart, is this a bug or a change to the functionality? Thanks.

If you select Global Cross Hair on both charts the cross hairs will show up on both charts. This is expected behavior.

Correct, but for example say I have a 1second and a 30second chart and turn on global crosshair on the 30sec chart. It used to be I move the mouse on 1sec and it moves on 30sec however now it does nothing. The only time it works is if I turn global crosshair on, on both charts then it works on both sides but I cannot get it to work anymore on just 1 chart.

I'm sure I follow what you are saying, but this is how it works:

Select Global cross hair on a chart and it is functionally the same has the regular cross hairs and does not affect any other chart.

Select Global cross hair in two charts and the cross hairs show up in both charts and follow eachother as you scroll in one chart.

If this is not how it works for your please let me know. If it does work this way for you, then you have full functionality. This has not changed recently.

I appreciate your help however this is how it USED to work:

Open 2 charts for the same item with different time frames.
On chart 1 select "Cross Hair"
On chart 2 select "Global Cross Hair"

When you move the crosshair on chart 1, chart 2's crosshair would move showing you where you were at on chart 1. When you move the crosshair on chart 2 it would NOT move on chart 1 unless you selected "Global Cross Hair" on chart 1 as well.

This is how it used to work, now nothing happens unless you select "Global Cross Hair" on BOTH charts then they both move the cross hair in reference to where you are at on each chart. I am looking for the original functionality of only 1 chart having a global crosshair and following along with the primary chart.

I hope this isn't confusing, if it is I can make a video and show you. Thanks.

In this scenario this particular chart would be affected by other charts but this chart itself would not affect any other charts unless they had global cross hair selected.

Hmmm I would look into this as it is very annoying. The old way it used to work "should" be correct from a logical standpoint. Why should someone have to turn on a global crosshair on both charts for it to work at all. It would only make sense for someone to turn on a global crosshair for only the chart they want affected. Just my .02 I will be reinstalling the previous version so I have the functionality

ver 6.5.100.5 this is how my global cross hairs work:

enable global crosshair on chart 1

all other crosshairs of all other charts of the same instrument will move the Chart 1 crosshairs.

I didn't realize that this feature was available..

I am pleased to have it as I use 5 time frames when trading......

It is actually a benefit that each chart has to be set individually..

Now. Ninja has all these super features....... is it possible that the Holy Grail could be added with the next update........?

excellent selection of indicators......

This program is like a dream......!!!!!!!!! and the new version promises more...!!

Now if only I could know that the holy grail is definitely gonna happen.......!!
