Custom Data Connection?

You will need to upgrade to NinjaTrader 8 for these connections.

To update NinjaTrader, please follow the steps below:

• First, copy your license key from NinjaTrader under Help> License Key then exit NinjaTrader
• Click on the link: http://ninjatrader.com/PlatformDirect
• Enter your license key and press Submit
• Select 'NinjaTrader 8'
• Select 'Download'
• Critical: Before running the installer, ensure NinjaTrader is closed.

I checked now the providers and looked in connection options of NT 7. Most providers are not listed there: tradestation, coinbase,portara,global datafeeds, ticanalytics, cedro, truedata, lenz+partner, accelpix. So, how could I connect to them when they are not listed?
On the other hand several providers are listed in NT 7 but not listed in the link you have given

NinjaTrader does not offer an open API that would allow you to create a custom market data integration. You would only be able to use NinjaTrader with an approved market data provider that has been built with the oversight of our development team. You can find a list of supported brokers and market data providers at the following link:

I was searching the help file and the forum about how to create a custom connector to load EOD data, as for example kinetick or some time ago yahoo.

As did not find any documentation. Does it mean Ninjatrader can only be used with data providers defined by the NinjaTrader Management? There is no way to load own data into the database?
