Cannot exit NinjaTrader or Compile

Remote support kindly helped me install NT7 about a month ago.
I don't know what went wrong but now it opens and runs but.... It won't close and it won't compile with the error message
source file not found.
Windows seems to have emptied my documents folder - I don't know how or why so I understand why it can't see it but it must be reading it from somewhere??
I also can't email support from the platform - it just does nothing.
I even went as far as reinstalling windows and reinstalling NT7 - nothing changed.
So could someone from support please help me get back up and running via an email contact ?

PS Can I say I hate and detest windows - I have installed windows on my Apple Mac just for this app and have no issues ever!! Please can NT support a version that runs on Apple - I guarantee it won't need 10% of the support you give windows.

Please write into to PlatformSupport[AT]NinjaTrader[DOT]Com along with your log and trace files and a link to this forum post.

Include ticket number 2548029 in the body of the email.

Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to your response so I may investigate this matter further.
Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
