There have been some changes to the way you need to setup your AOL e-mail with NT. This will save you a LOT of grief as it took me a while to get this information!
Basically, you have to follow the previous instructions except that, rather than using your actual AOL password during setup as you would have previously done, you will make an "App Password" within the security settings of AOL.
Server= smtp.aol.com
Port= 587
User= "Your Full E-Mail"
Password= "Your App Password" (NOT your e-mail password)
Mail alert messages to= "A Full E-Mail"
For the "App Password"...
1) Sign in to AOL.com
2) Click on your name
3) Click on "Account Security"
4) Click on "Manage App Passwords"
5) Click on "Select Your App" then choose "Other"
6) Give it a name, for example "NT APP" then click "Generate".
A password will be generated. This is the one you need to use instead of your own personal one in the old (above) steps.
