Same instrument, number of days and timeframe but different results

Scenario:

I have two charts on the same instrument with the same number of days back. I put the same indicator on bath charts with the same settings. I actually saved a chart template and applied it to both charts. The indicator adds a 1 tick time frame which I extract my chart drawing numbers with.

Result
I get two different results on the two charts. Close but different.

Question:
Can two charts with the same settings not start at the same tick or have the same ticks included?

Thanks for the post.

One way you could make sure that both charts load the data concurrently is to interval link the two by choosing an interval link color in the top right of the chart, then setting an interval for both.

However that might not be the issue, do these two charts share the same time interval? The difference could be caused by running the indicator on a 1-minute chart and a 5-minute chart.

Could you also post some screenshots of what you are seeing on your end?

There are color linked. The charts are both at the same time frame interval. I have tried a 1 minute, 5 minute, 25volume, 1 range, and 4 range with the same difference result.

What indicator are you using on the charts? If the indicator is open source, could you post the link to the download location so I can test on my installation? I tested the behavior with the SMA indicator and the two are identical.
