Reload volume data

Why making a reload data on a volume chart ( of ES ) takes so long and uses so much memory ?
I tried to open a new volume chart of ES in my notebook ( which i was not using for more than a week ), so last 5 days were not in the cache. And it takes no more than 5 seconds and the process NinjaTrader.exe used no more than 200M.
After that, doing a reload data, the memory used goes up to 1G ( the max of the notebook) and it takes forever.... so I have to kill the process.
Were's the difference between the 2 processes ? Why can I load the data but not reloading it ?

Note : the example was using a 1000 vb chart of ES of last 2 days

Some markets are trading six times the volume than usual, such as the ES.

Once you connected to your data feed and reloaded your chart, you requested the data from your data feed provider. It seems the data request was too much. I suggest to reduce the amount of historical data in the chart and check again.

In addition, if you have indicators applied in your chart, please remove them before reloading your chart.

I understand that the ES volume has increased and that i can reduce historical data and indicators.
The point is why it takes so much memory and time to reload data than just loading it for the first time ?
