Is it possible to build an API that connects to Ninja Trader?

If you are referring to being able to code an broker or market data adapter for NinjaTrader then this is not supported.

Yes, I would know. I am the President. What I am saying is that we have an interace, all functions are documented. I will not say that what you want to do is 100% possible since I don't know what your requirements are specifically. What I will say is to check out the available functions to see if what exists will allow you to do what you need.

I am aware of the documentation and have read through it. I guess I misunderstood the point of these forums. I thought it was intended to help users who are less familiar with the product get clarification on things that are unclear.

I was asking about an API not using Ninja Script to program an ATI.

Does anyone know if you can use an independent API with Ninja Trader?

Your questions are not very clear, so my answer will maybe not be very clear too, but for what I'm understanding of your needs, you might use your broker API, and not Ninja.
