    ES Contract Change 2021 Instruments not loading

    My NinjaTrader 7 will not load any 2021 instruments?
    For example if i try and change my Instrument ES 12-20 to ES 03-21 I get the following error. "Error on loading chart date "ES 03-21 Globex": NinjaTrader data server does not support this instrument, no data available.

    Im using AMPS and CQG.

    Windows 10 + NinjaTrader 7.0.1000.40 (Live)

    PS I have tried Resetting Instruments under the Tools/Options/Data Tab and restarting the Platform but still the same error messages for any 2021 instrument i try.

    Thank you for using NinjaTrader.

    This is typically the symptom of an out of date NinjaTrader 7 platform.

    The newer version contains many critical updates to the database. Please update NinjaTrader 7 and reset your instruments:

    First, to update NinjaTrader, please follow the steps below:
    • First get your license key from NinjaTrader under Help> License Key then exit NinjaTrader
    • Click on the link: https://ninjatrader.com/PlatformDirect
    • Enter your license key and press Submit
    • Under 'Prior Releases' select the version next to 'NinjaTrader 7' to begin your download.
    • Critical: Before running the installer, ensure NinjaTrader is closed.


    Lastly, to reset your instruments, please follow the steps below:
    • Disconnect from your data feed: NinjaTrader Control Center> File> Disconnect> Select your data feed
    • Reset your Instruments: NinjaTrader Control Center> Tools> Options> Data tab> Reset Instruments>OK
    • Restart NinjaTrader> Connect (NinjaTrader Control Center> File> Connect> Select your connection

        Hello,

        Thank you for your reply.

        This has been a common occurrence since the update was released and the reason that the instrument is not supported was due to it not being available in the instrument database.

        The latest update addresses this.
