    New FDAX contract not loading

    Hello,

    I just switched from FDAX 12-20 to 03-21 but the charts aren't loading.
    I'm getting the following error message:
    Error on loading chart data for FDAX 03-21 Eurex: NinjaTrader data server does not support this instrument, no data available.

    What's strange is that the DOM correctly displays the live prices, just not the charts.

    What should I do? (I'm using CQG through AMP Futures as data provider)

    EDIT: when reloading the chart, I'm getting a live feed, but just the current data (one candle), no historical data.

    When I had this probem in the past, this is what I did and it always worked, but not this time:

    I would recommend deleting your current cache files from the NinjaTrader folder. First, you'll want to make sure that you have completely closed and exited the NinjaTrader program. To delete the cache, you'll navigate to Documents folder, NinjaTrader folder, db folder and then delete the "cache", "day", "minute" and "tick" folders respectively. When you have accomplished this, you'll then relaunch NinjaTrader as you normally would.

    EDIT 2: Problem solved, I was on version 38. Upgraded toVersion 42 and everything works.

    Thank you for your note.

    The newer version of NinjaTrader 7 contains many critical updates to the database. Please update NinjaTrader 7 and reset your instruments:

    First, to update NinjaTrader, please follow the steps below:
    • First get your license key from NinjaTrader under Help> License Key then exit NinjaTrader
    • Click on the link: https://ninjatrader.com/PlatformDirect
    • Enter your license key and press Submit
    • Under 'Prior Releases' select the version next to 'NinjaTrader 7' to begin your download.
    • Critical: Before running the installer, ensure NinjaTrader is closed.
    Lastly, to reset your instruments, please follow the steps below:
    • Disconnect from your data feed: NinjaTrader Control Center> File> Disconnect> Select your data feed
    • Reset your Instruments: NinjaTrader Control Center> Tools> Options> Data tab> Reset Instruments>OK
    • Restart NinjaTrader> Connect (NinjaTrader Control Center> File> Connect> Select your connection
