Multiple Shadow Strategies?

Is it possible to run multiple shadow strategies?
In Super Dom I can only run one.

You can do this by referencing a shadow strategy that references another shadow strategy.

To do this:
1- set up and save an ATM with a shadow strategy in ATM Templates.
2- select a 3rd strategy from the ATM Strategy drop down
3- select the ATM created in step #1 above as a shadow strategy

I tested it, but when I go to "Account Performance", there is only a trade for the normal strategy in "Sim101". For the shadow Strategy there is no trade.
Does the results for the shadow strategy only work if I trade real.
what did I do wrong?

Be sure:
- the strategy is playing out and triggered by its stoplosses or profit targets
- you have saved the ATM to include the shadow strategy
- you have clicked on another tab in the Contol Center then reclick the Account Performance tab to have your shadow strategy show up in the list of templates.
- select Generate to generate a new report.

I tested it again.

When I trade with super Dom in "SIm101 Mode" and want trade a single or multiple shadow strategies, it never shows me any results.

What can I do?

Test it by connecting to File>Connect>Simulator and then move the trend slider to the top or bottom.

Then place the a trade with the ATM that has the shadow saved in it.

Then wait for some time for both the ATM (regular and shadow) to be triggered. Do not select Close or Flatten everything.

Then close and re-enter the Performance tab and select Generate.

Is it really possible to launch a shadow strategy, if the first trade is also in Sim101 account?
Or must the first trade be in real acount to make a shadow strategy possible?

I get no results for shadow strategy when I start a trade with Super Dom in Sim101 account...

Hello,

You are correct. You will need to select the live account for the main ATM and the shadow will place orders in the sim101 account.

Hi!

I had my first real trade.
I had a shadow strategy that launched another shadow strategy, as you said.

If I go to "Account Performance" no, I have two problems:

1. I only get a result for the first shadow strategy.

2. Under "Templates" I have several strategies. I always have to klick all strategies to get any results for a shadow strategy. If I only klick the one that I used, I get no results.

What can I do?

Hello,

Double check which account(s) you have selected when you run the reports. Remember, the shadows only run in sim101.

The problem exists also when it´s just in "sim101"
Are you sure, that you get results for more than one shadow strategy in a single trade?
