Free market data and NTDirect.dll

I have been using the NT 7 platform for a long time where I supply market data using the external data feed form my Tradestation platform. I develop Easylanguage code for a broker that will send orders to the NT platform from a Tradestation chart. The broker is obviously trading live on the NT platform. I use the NtDirect dll to generate the trade signals, and for development I'm just using the NT sim account. I just purchase a new computer on which I have installed NT 7 to continue that work, but I noticed that free market data was available, so I have enabled for the NT platform. My question is, will the free market data feed allow me to continue doing sim trades via the NtDirect dll, or will I have to continue to use the market data from the Tradestation platform?

I think the answers are yes and yes.

I presume the free market data is a trial, so it may not last forever.

Thus, you will have to continue to use TradeStation if and when
this free market data period expires.

I seriously doubt use of Sim101 would be adversely affected by
the addition of a new or different real-time data provider.

If you are connected to a supported broker within NinjaTrader 7, then the brokerage connection should be providing you with market data. This would allow you to simulate trades within the Sim101 account based on the order signals generated from your TradeStation strategies.

You didn't actually answer my question, but now that it is Monday morning, I can see that the free market data should work for trading the sim account from the Tradestation platform using then NtDirect dll.

My other question is, is the free market data indefinite, or will it eventually stop?
