Updated NT7 with data display issue

    Updated NT7 with data display issue

    Updated from Version 7.0.1000.40
    To version Version 7.0.1000.42

    Chart data messed and latest data consolidated into 1 candle.


    Visibly the X-axis (time) was having problem.
    The date sequence goes like this 4/9 ... 4/12 ... 4/9


    Need help urgently. Thanks

    Hello Josh2018,

    A reset of your instrument database should resolve this.

    To reset your instruments please follow the steps below:
    • Disconnect from your data feed: NinjaTrader Control Center> File> Disconnect> Select your data feed.
    • Reset your Instruments: NinjaTrader Control Center> Tools> Options> Data tab> Reset Instruments>OK.
    • Restart NinjaTrader> Connect (NinjaTrader Control Center> File> Connect> Select your connection.
    If the issue remains, please tell me what instrument + expiry month you have selected in the chart and to what broker/data feed you connect in NinjaTrader.

      Something is incompatible / changes between NT7_v40 to NT7_v42

      I did a clean installation but the problem persisted.

      New data simply doesn't feed into the DB folders.


      To compare, I did a clean installation of NT8.0.23.2 and booted beautifully works.

      So I think the problem only isolated to NT7_v42. Unfortunately I cannot revert to NT_v40


      Note: clean installation involves: uninstall, rename/remove NT folders, reinstall, restarted, login all over.

        Can you please tell me what instrument + expiry month you have selected in the chart and to what broker/data feed you connect in NinjaTrader.

        If you create a new chart without a chart template, does the data load as expected in the chart?

        Could it be your PC clock is not setup for the correct date?
