TT feed with CL contract bug

In case it has not been reported yet, there is a bug with the Trading Technologies feed and the CL contract.

With the exchange set to Nymex, which is how NT has it set by default, the historical backfill works but live ticks do not work. If the exchange is set to Globex, the live ticks work but the historical backfill does not work.

We are aware of this behavior.

Trading Technologies does not provides historical data. Upon using Trading Technologies in combination with a live license, you will be able to request historical data. This data is retrieved from our historical data server.

TT provides real-time data for the CL traded on Globex, while the server stores the data for the CL traded on Nymex.

You use the word "behavior" instead of the word "bug". I hope using the word "behavior" instead of "bug" does not imply you are not going to fix this. After all, you do advertise historical backfill for Trading Technologies:

Thanks for clarification. Unfortunately this is a limitation which can not be overcome at this time.

Dierk, I think this deserves a little further explanation.

The historical data server collects data from a provider that uses a different exchange than what TT uses. This is the limitation that can not be overcome at this time.

I went down this road actually just the last few days. There doesn't seem to be away around it and I had to subscribe to BarChart.Com. It seems like it should be able to work because its the exact same contract, exact same data, but you know those things go.
