NT7 Historical Data loaded - Chart Not Loading

I think this would be something easy that has been overlooked.

I loaded the latest NT7, and inserted NT7 historical data into the appropriate data folder. For instrument managers, I assigned ES ##-## (as the data is from 2019 and older references are not available). Market Replay connection was enabled and the available data is shown.

What am I missing and thank you!

    Hello efrishman,

    Thank you for your post.

Please note that Historical Data is not used to play data back on the Market Replay Connection.

If you have Market Replay data files these would be placed in the 'data' folder within the 'db' folder.

Also please note that the historical data will need to match the expiry exactly that you are attempting to replay.

Meaning if you place data for the ##-## contract ionto the NinjaTrader 7 folder and replaying data for ES 03-22 the ##-## data will not be used.

So that I may better assist please take a screenshot of the chart and Market Replay controller:
    • To send a screenshot with Windows 10 or newer I would recommend using the Windows Snipping Tool.
    • Alternatively to send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screenshot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save it as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.
Also for your reference I have included a link to our NInjaTrader Help Guide on how to import historical data into NinjaTrader 7:

      Spencer,

Thank you for the quick response. Under instrument mgr, I had already loaded the 06-19 contract and that data shows well. How can I include the 03-19, 09-19, and 12-19 contracts under the instrument manager (there is only ##-## option as the lowest members (graphic enclosed)?

      Thanks!

      Eric

        Hello efrishman,

Thank you for clarifying and the screenshot.

Unfortunately, this list is based on your PC clock and will only show the more recent expires.

However there is another Forum Post on how to gain access to older expiries in this list which I have linked below:Another method is to just manually type the instruemnt and expiry directly into a chart window and then press enter on your keyboard.

To do this you would create a chart window then ensure it is selected and type in 'ES 09-19' (without quotations) and then press Enter.
