    Login failed

    Good morning, I'm having this message when I want to connect ninjatrader data feed. Any one else?

    me too my man.. same thing happening to me with continuum data feed// whats the problem Ninjatrader?? smh

      Hello,

      Thank you for your posts.

      This error most commonly occurs when NinjaTrader is unable to communicate with the servers due to it being blocked by another program, or there is an issue in the path between your computer and the appropriate servers.

      Please check for software such as (corporate) firewalls, spyware and anti-virus software that could be blocking NinjaTrader. In some cases the modem/router has built-in software that prevents the connection to be established.

      To resolve this, I recommend the following steps (test for the issue after each step):
      • Restart your modem and (if applicable) router
      • Restart your PC
      • Also, ensure that your computer is not turning off your Network Adapter to conserve power:
        • Restart NinjaTrader
        • Right-click on your Start button
        • Select 'Device Manager'
        • Expand 'Network Adapters'
        • Right-click on your Network Adapter and select Properties > Power Management
        • Uncheck 'Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power' option
        • Click 'OK' to save the changes
        • Do this for all Network Adapters
      • Clear your DNS
      • If you are not already and the option is available to you, connect to the internet using an ethernet cable. Wireless connections are significantly more unreliable.
      • Ensure exceptions have been added into any firewall/antivirus/backup programs for the Documents > "NinjaTrader 8" folder.
      • If the above steps do not help, contact your ISP and let them know you are experiencing a highly unstable connection. An issue of connectivity may exist on their end.

                Never mind.

                We have to update NinjaTrader 7 to the latest version - which is 1000.43 and it works now.

                  login connection issue. when i try to connect to my ninja trader continuum it says the user name or password are incorrect login failed but the green light is on beside my rithmic connection
                  . it worked fine yesterday and last night. so my data is off. It did connect once this am but then the p&L wasn't calculating correctly and I couldn't buy the bid i had to buy market. i have tried log back in 2x but it only worked once and then had other errors as stated.​

                    i tried uploading the newest version of ninja and now i have data it seems but 1 chart is frozen and shows a loading symbol

                          found a solution database reset. that should be in troubleshooting . i wasted 90 min on this. Also now my p&L is in ticks vs dollars how do you fix that?

                            Are you using NinjaTrader 8 or NinjaTrader 7?

                            Please also send me a screenshot of the window where you are trying to change the PnL display unit.

                            You can send it right from the platform, by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Email Support
