Issue sending email using Gmail.

Hi

I am trying to send a "test email" using NinjaTrader 7. But I receive next message: Failed to send test mail: The SMTP server requires a secure connection or the client was not authenticated. The server response was: 5.7.0 Authentication Required. Learn more at

I am using the set up explained here.

And I have created an App password following these steps.

Any idea about how to solve this issue?

So I may look into this further please go to the NinjaTrader Control Center-->Help-->Mail to Support-->Subject: Attn Chris Jameson -->Put a check next to "Log and trace files"-->Include a linkn to this thread in the body of the email then Click Send.

Plaket, in case this might help you. I have configured the gmail service from many years ago with no problems as following:

Server: smtp.gmail.com
port 587 SSL checked
User: xxxxxgmail.com
Password: one obtained from App-password google account process


Additional: mail alert messages to: xxxgmail.com


If I were you, I'd try to reset the App-password with the above configuration
