    Issue with GC 12-22

    Hi

    I switched to this Gold Futures contract a few days ago (everything worked perfectly with the prior contract) and every morning when I start NT I get a huge 5 min bar with no chart history.
    I'm on NT 7 with CQG.
    How can this be solved ?

    I am experiencing this same problem...my guess is that it is a CQG problem that will probably be resolved with the next day data load.

      I just started NT for my new trading day and the problem is still there. Very frustrating.

        Same here...CME shows the Dec contract being front month as confirmed by the Vol printed on the T&S, but the chart data is clearly skewed.

          Hello lacoon and BigAAPL,

          NinjaTrader 7 does not have the same instrument definition functionality as NinjaTrader 8 where instrument definitions can be updated from our Information Servers.

          There may be some changes that will need to be made manually in the NinjaTrader 7 instrument database. You may use NinjaTrader 8 to download the same instrument definitions to see how the correct settings would be set up in NinjaTrader 7.

          I changed the rollover date for the 12-22 contract month and was able to view the same chart that I see in NinjaTrader 8.

          Please be sure to right click and select Reload All Historical Data on the chart after changing the instrument definitions.

          If you are still stuck after this, could you confirm the Merge Policy set in Tools > Options > Data > Merge Policy? (Please also check the Merge Policy set in the instrument definitions.)
