Orders in Chart Trader

Let's say I'm running a strategy on ES that makes about 12 trades a day. I also trade ES using my own discresion, utilizing the chart trader feature. Is there a way to hide any orders on my ES chart that are generated by the automatic strategy?

This is possible, as strategies started from the strategies tab in the Control Center will not appear on the chart.

Bertland, I always start strategies from the Strategies Tab. Orders still appear on the chart. Am I doing something wrong?

If you refer to the executions, then yes, those will show up on your charts.

I'm referring to any order / stop / target done by the automatic strategy which is in the Strategy Tab and NOT ADDED in the chart still appears on the chart when Chart Trader is used. Any ideas?

All executions are plotted on the chart. What you want to do is just turn off plotting of trade executions. Bring up your chart's properties and scroll down to Trade Visualization. From there you want to set DoNotPlot for the trades.

I know that all executions are plotted on the chart. I am talking about the CHART TRADER ORDERS. Meaning, the ones where you click the X to cancel, etc. etc. Is there a way to NOT display orders from strategies...

Hi lawyse,

Please see if the following works for you - right click in the Chart Trader panel and bring up the Chart Trader properties, then select 'Transparent' colors for your position display lines. You can also lenghten and shorten those here under 'Order Display Bar length'.
