    Patsystems error...

    Hi everybody,

    today I get "unable to subscribe to market data for instrument "FSMI 12-08" (see attach)

    I have spoken with broker representetive and said the instrument (all eurex

    instruments) they have me qualifidied for and also told me didn't get at all my

    submittion order on their server....

    May you help me?

    Please connect to Patsystems and go to Tools-->Instrument Manager and click the Pats-button in the upper right corner. Check if the FSMI is listed.

    If not, it indicates you are not authorized by your broker to receive data or trade this instrument. Contact your broker and have them add this instrument to the list.

    If the FSMI is listed, please remove the instrument from your instrument list in the Instrument Manager.


    Go to Tools-->Options-->Misc-tab and click Reset Instruments.

    Add the instrument back to your list and check if the errors recur.

      Hi there,

      -I have followed your instructions: ok;
      -I verified also in Paths symbols (see attach)
      -I have had conversation with broker and for them is all ok; but..
      -I can't send order by Ninja.. for FSMI ... i get always "unknow instrument".

      Maybe I have to do something else?

      ps: I have also tried to change exchange from Eurex to Eurex SW and back again.. I don't know... (is just this one, all the others have no problem!)

        Remove the FSMI from your instrument list once more.

        Can you please set the exchange to EurexSW and set Currency to SwissFrancs. Make sure the symbol mapping next to Patsystems is set to FSMI under the Misc-tab.

        Add it back and check if you receive data.

          Hi there,

          yes: all I have done and checked different times...

          I removed Fsmi from instrument list and then restarted the application and added back the future from reset button and then added in my workspace (default):

          -I have set the exchange to EurexSW (it was from default)
          -currency is Swiss Franc (from default)
          -in Pats correspond the same ticket: Fsmi.

          From eSignal I get data, but not from/to Patsystems.

            Hello lumer,

            Please send a note to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com including your Patsystems connection information, so I can create and test your connection on my end. I will test this in simulation and will only check if I am able to receive data for the FSMI.

              Any news about FSMI? I experience the same problem as lumer.

                Hello astra,

                Can you please confirm the FSMI is listed under the Pats-button as per post #2.

                Do you receive any error messages in the Log-tab upon selecting the instrument?

                Try removing the instrument from your instrument list in the Instrument Manager.


                Go to Tools-->Options-->Misc-tab and click Reset Instruments.

                Add the instrument back to your list and check if the errors recur.

                If the issue persists, please send an email to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com as per post #6.
