    Mirus Demo Datafeed

    Can anyone help withthe following;

    I have set up the data connection as per the email I recieved from Mirus.

    I cut and paste the user name and the pass so no errors here?

    I then try connecting to Zenfire and get the following;

    Login Failed: Please check your account connection parameters and your internet connection.

    Account connection should be fine ?????

    Internet is OK because I can get a Yahoo Connection and pull Daily Data for GOOG..... I require realtime for Emini's

    Your assistance is appreciated

    Hello the Hound,

    Please ensure the username and password are entered correctly upon creating the connection.

    Check for software, such as (corporate) firewalls, pop up blockers and anti-virus software, that could be blocking the connection. In some cases the router is blocking the connection. Try connecting your PC directly to your modem and check if this will make a difference.

    If the error persists, please send a note to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com including your username and password, so we can create and test your connection on our end.

      same problem

      Maybe you have found a solution in the meantime but still, I had the same problem. It may help to try to TYPE IN your broker password and username, do not use COPY and PASTE.

        Instead of Copy and Paste I retyped it ...

          i cant get my user name and password to work with mirus demo , but they gave me a license key for ninja , do i need to use the license key they gave me ?

          how do i change the license key ?

            The license key provided by your broker should work with the demo connection they provided as well.

            If you receive the same error message stated in the thread, please try manually typing in the username and password and check for software that could be blocking the connection.

                oh ......zen fire does not appear in the list of providers .what do i do ?

                  Can you please re-enter the license under Help-->License key and check if you receive an error NT could not verify the license.

                  If so, please check for software, such as (corporate) firewalls, pop up blockers or anti-virus software, that could be blocking the connection to the license server.

                      The error indicates NinjaTrader cannot establish a connection to its license server. Please check for software mentioned in post #9.

                      In some cases the router is blocking the connection. Please connect your PC directly to your modem and check if this will make a difference.

                          I am having this very same problem. I use to connect ok until a couple days ago i just started having this problem. every time i attempt to log on I get this message "Login Failed: Please check your account connection parameters and your internet connection". My internet connection is fine and i have turned off my firewall, popup blocker, virus software and this did not resolve the problem. The only difference is that i am trying to connect to zen fire not Mirus.

                            Hello trader413,

                            Could you please delete your current Zen-Fire connection and recreate a new one.

                            Try manually typing in the login information and check if you can get connected. If not, please send me an email to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com and put 'Attn Jason' in the subject header.

                            Were there any changes on your end on your PC or internet connection setup since a couple of days ago?

                              I deleted my zen fire connection and that did not help. the only thing i did was to unplugged my internet card a couple of days ago. I don't know if this is the cause or what. how do I email you because i don think the mail through ninja trader program is working.
