    Why do orders entered directly in TWS not show up in Ninja Trader?

    To be more specific why do pending orders entered in TWS not show up in NT?

      You will only see the order in NinjaTrader upon using a live license with our software.

      If so, can you please verify you had Global Simulation Mode disabled (under Control Center-->File) and the IB account was selected in NinjaTrader.

        I have a paid license. I am using IB.

        You can test this yourself. Open NT connect it to TWS.

        Then enter a limit order away from the current price directly into TWS.

        Notice that this order does not show up in NT.

          I tested it myself using an IB demo account and a live NinjaTrader license.

          I submitted a limit order in TWS and it displayed in NinjaTrader in the Orders-tab as well as in the SuperDOM with the IB demo account selected.

          The order will not display in NinjaTrader if "Global Simulation Mode" is enabled in NinjaTrader.

            Can I share my desktop and demonstrate the issue to you.... global simulation is off.

            I am using TWS version 887.5

              Please uninstall TWS version 887.5 and install TWS version 887.2, which you can download at the link below.


              Let me know if the issue persists upon using TWS 887.2

                Just downgraded and same problem. Can I share my desktop and demonstrate teh problem?

                  Please verify the lower left corner of the Control Center states "Connected - Interactive Brokers" in green.

                  If so, could you please uninstall both NinjaTrader and TWS and check once more. I have tested it again and the order shows up in NinjaTrader on my end.

                  Uninstall NinjaTrader 6.5 from the Windows Control Panel under Add/Remove Programs. You will save your settings. Please clear your browser cache before downloading and installing NinjaTrader again.

                  If the order still will not appear in NinjaTrader, please send a note to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com and we can schedule for a call and remote session tomorrow.
