    where is the ninja source file for debugging

    i am following thro the docs for debugging.
    i am at step 3. now where can i find teh ninja source file on my machine for debugging

    You mean, where you can locate which file is giving you the error? Just doubleclick on any errors that came up at the bottom of the NinjaScript editor ...

      i mean, the steps in
      Visual Studio Debugging

      1. In the NinjaScript Editor enable "Debug Mode" DONE
      2. From within Microsoft Visual Studio select Debug > Attach to Process... and select NinjaTrader from the process list and press the "Attach" button DONE

      3. Open the NinjaScript source file within Microsoft Visual Studio and set your break point(s)
      WHERE IS THIS FILE? i cannot see it. however my strategy is running in NT. i am using visual studio 2005 Team edition for software developers.

        The .cs files are in this folder - MyDocuments\NinjaTrader 6.5\bin\Custom

          Hi Bertrand,
          I would also like to know where this file is. Understand that I'm not developing a "custom dll" indicator as I understand there's a separate procedure for that. I'm simply writing a standard indicator using the NT NinjaScript editor. How can that script be debugged as it runs? I'd like to know if debugging is supported in NT natively. I also would like to know how to debug it in VS. The documentation on the VS debugging is lacking in that it doesn't say where the source file is located.

            Hello,

            The file location is in Bert's post below. Or do you mean a different file?

            You can't debug compile errors while the program runs, because it won't. However the calculations may be off or something like that but he indicator still runs, albiet erroniously.
