Hi is it possible to view the $prem symbol in ninja to find out where the ES is in relation to its fair value? I am using zenfire. thanks

Hello,

If your datafeed / broker connection supports indices and your account is authorized, you can easily add PREM to the Instrument manager.

NinjaTrader comes pre-loaded with the most commonly traded instruments however, you may find the need to add an additional instrument. Please follow the instructions below to add an instrument in the Instrument Manager.

• From the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Instrument Manager
• Press the "New" button
• *Enter in instrument specific information and select the appropriate exchange (add Default exchange for equities in addition to the actual exchange)
• Fill in any relevant information under the "Misc" tab such as symbol mapping for your target connectivty provider
• Press the "OK" button

The instrument is now added to the master instrument list. Please follow the instructions below if you want to add this instrument to an instrument list.

• Select the instrument list you wish to add the instrument to via the "Instrument lists" drop down list in the upper left hand corner
• Select the exchange (Default recommend for equities) as this will route orders to your broker smart routing system
• Select the appropriate expiration date if this is a futures instrument
• Press the "<" button to add the instrument to the list

You are now complete and can press the "OK" button.

thank you michael i contacted barchart and they told me my subscription is ok for the PREM FOR THE ES. but they told me that ninja trader should help me with the symbol and mapping procedure.please advise on how to add it to the instrument panel .

You will need to use the instructions from my previous post to create this instrument, I recommend checking www.barchart.com or contacting them directly for the symbol mapping of this instrument.

Hello Michael,

I have some issues with your advise. I would like to add the S&P 500 INDEX,RTH from google.finance since my broker support only futures but couldn't add this symbol. Then I have all the S&P 500 listed stocks also listed in the instrument data field, but can't access anyone. Is this also due to the futures only restriction from my broker? I would also like to know if it's possible to add from other sources than listed in the instrument window e.g. quote.com?

Some additional configuration is required for this instrument.
Please take the following steps:

• From the Control Center, click Tools > Instrument Manager.
• In the Instrument Manager, select SP500 from the list then press Edit to load the instrument editor.
• In the editor, navigate to the Misc tab. Under the Symbol Map section, next to Google, enter SPX, then press OK.
• Next, close and then re-open the instrument manager.
• Finally, remove and then re-add SP500 to your default list by following the steps listed here: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...ment_lists.htm

After taking these steps, you will be able to chart Daily data for SP500 when connected to Google.

thank you for your quick reply. I couldn't add the symbol because I tried already. The symbol doesn't appear in the list. That's my problem. Can I get also realtime data feed since it is actually a realtime symbol?

1.) Are you connected to any other providers at the same time? If so, which one(s).

2.) "Can I get also realtime data feed since it is actually a realtime symbol?"
This would be possible through another data provider that offered data for indicies. The Google connection, however, is delayed end-of-day data only.

Considering using StockCharts.com data feed with NT7.
That date feed is not listed under the Account Connections Set Up.
Is there a way to connect it?

I am trying to add this symbol PREM using Kinetick data and I keep getting the message "You must set at least one symbol map value." and I do not know what it means, please help
