    Zen-Fire and historical data

    I am on a Zen-Fire trial, as I am considering switching from IQfeed and IB.

    I cannot get any historical data (tick data). It's my understanding one year of tick data is available, and I confirmed this with Zen.

    I have the option 'Enabled Historical Data' selected on the account. Yet when I connect and load a chart, like ES 09-08 for instance, I get nothing. Also the reload historical data option is grayed out. If I pull up ES 03-09 it works.

    Also, I read a few posts saying NT maintains tick data for Zen. How do I connect to this? I've seen an IP address posted but I found no place to input this anywhere.

    Some assistance please...

    The reason your reload historical data option is disabled is because this contract is not active. If you would like to get this much data for these contracts I recommend merging your contracts, please visit the link provided for instructions on how to do so.

      Never mind. Repaired the DB, re opened NT and all appears to be fine. Sorry for not thinking about that earlier. My bad.



      Micheal,

      I have not been able to reload data all weekend for any ES chart. See image and maybe you can offer some suggestions on how to fix this.

        Please restart your PC then let me know if you're able to reload Zen-Fire data after connecting.

          Restart PC, restart NT. All is well. No issues to report.
