Can't open new charts - Ninja Trader does nothing - waits forever

This happened to me several times with different symbols.
I am using the simulation version with IQ Feed.

    I have 3 charts open.
I closed one of them and open a new chart window.
    I select the same symbol.
Ninja opens the "data loading" window and nothing happens.
I waited several hours so it is not working for sure.
All other charts windows, T&S and DOMs are working.
I am able to open a new DOM for the same instrument and see it is alive
    and has data.

I also use AmiBroker and it has no problems to open the same instrument immediately along with Time & Sales.

This happens every once in a while, not everyday.
The problem is that once it happens I can no longer open any chart.

Only exiting Ninja Trader and restarting solve the issue.

When I am recoding a session this gets really frustrating since I do not want to stop NT until the session ends, so I have to wait several hours.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Eitan

I can confirm this happens to me as well. 6.5.1000.8 and IQfeed.

The chart does not load. The furthest it gets is "Loading" dialog pop-up box. It 'cannot be aborted' and cannot be closed, canceled, nothing. Has happened to me on minute and range charts. My lookback period is very short, like 3 days for tick and 15 days for minute.

I have had this happen anywhere from the first chart to the tenth chart. So number of resources seems to be unimportant.

I believe NT is expecting something from IQfeed API, and doesn't get it, then it just sits there instead of having a timeout period. There is no transfer taking place (no network activity, no CPU activity).

If anyone has experienced this on a platform other than IQfeed I'd be curious to find out.

A cancel button would be extremely useful in these situations so the entire application doesn't have to be aborted/closed due to this problem.

        Thanks for the answers,
I suspected that I am not alone with that.

I am also using the latest version.

By the way, there is a way to close the Loading dialog, by pressing Alt-F4,
but then it gets worst since the chart remain black and no other dialog message appears anymore. Even when you close the chart and try to open it again. Indeed, It looks like Ninja is waiting for IQFeed forever with no timeout and no way to cancel.

It never happend to me on AmiBroker.
