daily charts

Hello!

I am new to Ninjatrader, so please excuse this "simple" question.

I am using NT with zenfire.

When I look at a 60min chart, I can go back in history till the 18/12, but I don't manage to plot this time period (which I have data for) in a simple daily chart.

How to do this?

Another question:

I know that zenfire doesn't support historical data. Can you recommend me a way to get historical data without having to leave zenfire.

Unfortunately Zen-Fire does not support historical daily data, which is used to create daily, weekly and monthly charts as you can see at the link below.

You could use a 1440 minute interval as a workaround to display a daily chart.

10080 Minute Chart as a Weekly Chart?

I notice, however, that while using Zen-Fire a 1440 minute chart displays a daily bar, a 10080 minute chart does not produce a weekly bar. Why not?

I tested 10080 minute bars on my end in NinjaTrader 7.0.1000.6 and I can reproduce the issue.

Please note that historical daily data is supported with Zen-Fire in NinjaTrader 7. So you can also load weekly data. I suggest to use a weekly period type for now if you like to plot weekly bars.

Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Chart Intervals

Sorry, but when I select the Interval on my chart as either daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly, the chart is blank. What am I doing wrong?

Are you using NinjaTrader 7.0.1000.6? If so, I think you're running in to a known issue.
Please:

• Right click in your chart and select Data Series.
• In the Data Series menu, set the "Session Template" property to "Default 24/7", then click OK.

After clicking OK, data should load.
