QM Symbol Charting using Interactive Brokers

Hi,

I can't seem to get the QM (miNY Crude) contract data using NT6.5. I have the symbol pulled using the IB Trader Workstation but I get an error when trying to get the data using the default NT6.5 symbol mapping. I'm requesting QM 02-09.

Has anybody been able to get this symbol using NT6.5 and IB?

Here's the error:

"Error in requesting historial data from IB: No security definition has been found for the request(200)."

Hello Dendy,

Thank you for your post.

Please make sure you receive data for the QM in TWS.

Then go to Tools --> Instrument Manager. Search for the QM, double click on it and make sure it is set up on the Nymex exchange and the symbol mapping is QM. See me attachments.
