    Profit Calculation Bug

    Friends,

I thinks I've discovered a little bug in Profit Calculation. This is the second time this is happened, so I decided to report this. First time there was an Automated Trading Strategy runing on Real Time with my provider MBT on real account. Second time the scenario was similar, but account was a simulation one (Back102).
You can see Trade Performance results in picture ProfitCurrency3. If you analize every trade, it can be found out that every PIP is equal to about $0.1. But on trade #23, what happens is that 9,5 PIPS represents $95 (or $10/Pip). Maybe this is because of the different integer part of the currency on exit and exit prices.
Do you know why is this happening? Thanks in advance!

    Hello Pablo,

Can you please go to Tools-->Options-->Misc-tab and click Repair DB.

Generate a new performance report that check if it will make a difference.

      Jason,
I tried to repair DB but I couldn't. NT shows the message attached.

Please close NinjaTrader and go to my Documents-->NinjaTrader 6.5-->db and rename the NinjaTrader.Old.mdb file to NinjaTrader.mdb and delete the current NinjaTrader.mdb file.

Start NinjaTrader. I suggest to generate a new report and check if the issue persists.

If so, try repairing your database once more.

Jason, I deleted NinjaTrader.mdb file and then renamed NinjaTrader.Old.mdb file to NinjaTrader.mdb. Buy when I try to repair the DB, NT shows the same error message as before "Failed to compact DB. Old Database is preserved at ....". Please keep in mind that file NinjaTrader.Old.mdb is created just when "Compact DB" button is pressed. Anyway, the first problem is not solved.

It seems your database contains corrupted data, which causes the initial issue. Unfortunately it is not possible to repair the database, since you experience the error you described.

I suggest to delete your current database and use a fresh new one. Delete the NinjaTrader.mdb file.

Submit some test trades and generate a new performance report and check if the information is correct in the performance report.

Note, make sure 'Quote currencies (FX)' is set to TenthPip at Tools-->Options-->Misc-tab as well.
