OCO Bracket Bid/Ask

I am new to NT. I use Interactive Brokers.

I set a Buy Stop Limit Order. Stop = Limit
I also set an OCO bracket 2 ticks up/1 tick down.

If the Bid/Ask is more than 2 ticks, will the LIVE trading program actually
make this trade?

I have been doing it in Demo Mode and it works fine.

There is always a disconnect between Demo and Live trading?

Could you please confirm you are referring to an ATM strategy.

If so, if the market (LastPrice) hits the price of your stop loss or profit target, it will trigger.

You can switch between live and simulation trading without a disconnection; you would switch the live account to the sim101 account in the Account field of the order entry window you use.

AMT Strategy

Yes, I am using an AMT Strategy.

I used the ThinkorSwim paper accounts for about a month doing these trades on Nymex Oil and it showed very promising results.

I went to do a live trade and the Sell Stop Limit would trigger before the
OCO order from the Sell Limit could cancel the Sell Stop.

TOS said it was because the paper account did not allow for the bid/ask
spread.

I just wanted to know how much credence to put in a strategy before I
get my hopes up.
