    Forex symbols for eSignal

I have eSignal and am having trouble getting data for Forex symbols in Ninja Trader (no problems on other platforms). I've tried $EURUSD and $GBPUSD and I get a blank chart for various timeframes. The eSignal symbols are EUR A0-FX AND GBP A0-FX. What do I need to do?

    Hello Shane,

    Thank you for your post.

The correct symbol mapping should already be set up for these instruments.

Please verify that you receive this data from eSignal.

Can you tell me the errors that are in your log tab when you try to bring up the $EURUSD in a chart?

I have 2 other applications that are receiving the Forex data from eSignal. There are not any log entries when I open the charts for these symbols.

Please make sure the symbol mapping is set up like my screenshots.

            Point Value for Yen Crosses

            Hello!

In the Instrument Editor I see that the point value for EURUSD should be set to 100 000.

Does this apply for the Yen Crosses too?

In the NT beta 19 there is also an option regarding "Merge policy" in the Instrument Editor. Should this be set to the default "UseGlobalSettings"?

            Thanks,
            Laurus12

Yen crosses should be set to 1000 by Default and will not need to be adjusted. You can change the MergePolicy if you wish however by default this is automatically set to UseGlobalSettings.

I have provided a link below to our Help Guide that goes over the different Merge Policies that are available.
