1st hour H and L

Is there a pivot indicator available which plots the high and low for the first hour and if available is there one which maintains these plots for any extended time frame?

Hello,

There isn't one that I know of. However you could just manually enter UserDefinedValues for the Pivot indicator when you attach it. You will find it under the PriorDayHLC drop down of the Pivot indicator parameters.

this will do it, and it keeps it for the current day.

Here's the one I use. At the end of your specified time range it will plot the Hi, Lo, and Mid range of that period with dotted lines.

Edit: Just realized I had it set to default to 9:30 AM and no user settings to change start time. Quickly fixed.

You would want every days 1st hr HiLo continue plotting till the close on Friday? Could get cluttered and yes I think so by just adjusting the end day and time in the code.

I agree eDanny...it can get messy but what I am looking for mainly is confluence of multiple levels.

For this you could then add a little filtering, x levels have to full into i.e. a 6 tick range to be considered confluence...

Has anyone seen an indicator where it has multiple time sessions that the user inputs and then the indicator takes that time range and calculates what are known as session pivots? The time is normally the first 30 mins of the market open.

I have done a pic of what I mean by the session pivots. I have this from another platform and am trying to see how this can be done in NT.

The user defines the start and end time of each session. The pivot levels are then calculated off of these sessions. The session pivot levels run from the end of the session to the end of the next session.

I look at the open time of several markets and have an option of up to 6 different sessions to calculate from. If my time start and end input show "9999" for the time, this session is skipped.

Any suggestions?
