Why was my STOP order not executed after I lost internet ?

Anybody know what should happen with Ninja DOM if you have stop orders in place and your PC crashes ?- shouldn't those orders get executed even if I have lost connection ?

I had a stop at 828 and a profit target at 826.5 that were sitting in my SuperDom when I lost internet and had to restart my PC. By the time I reconnected market was at 833 and the stop was filled there.

The worst part is I the profit target order that was waiting would have been hit first - so a 1 point profit turned into a 5 point loss.


This is using a Zenfire connection through Mirus futures.
Thankfully this was in a SIM account so no harm done.

Thank you for your post.

This is expected when using a simulated account as those orders are held in NinjaTrader and if NinjaTrader is shut down, those orders will NOT be triggered.
