tool that imports historical data into replay data

the answer from the ninjatrader team is not correct there is a
tool that you can buy for 300$ that allows you to import
imports historical data into replay data.

i dont know why ninjatrader team does not want its users to effectivly use the replay feature, nor why they dont simply allow historical data to be used for market replay, for traders that just work on 1 minute charts a mode just replays the minute charts should be not so difficult to implement (bid/ask data not needed just ohlc)

To clarify: replay data pool is different than historical chart data pool. Thus, Jason's reply is correct: importing historical chart data would backfill your charts but you could not drive market replay off it.

At this time we are not aware of any 3rd party tool which would fill the replay data pool from the historical chart data pool.

Thanks. I took a quick look and found that this tool would feed data from an external source through the "External feed" like real time data. It would not feed the pool where NT's own market replay pulls the data from.

Yes, thats my understanding. However in order to "back fill" any data today rather than having to wait years in order for this to eventuate, this tool would fill that void.

So my understanding is since this is feed back into the replay so we could still simulate the trades etc. Please let me know if there's much different between NT reply pool and historical chart data?
