I love NT but I have a problem

    Dear NT staff

I love your Ninja Trader. But I have a problem. I can not see any indicator and strategy from the list.

I use yahoo daily chart. I was able to download chart. But after I open the chart window I can not insert any indicators.

I have changed trust setting of Intranet to full trust in control panel as I have seen from another post. I got Dot Net Frame work 2.0 without any higher version installed.

But strange enough, I can open indicator and strategy scripts and can edit and can compile them without any problem.

    Using Vista 64 bit.

    have you got any suggestion?

    Hello auto9817,

Have you tried installing the .NET Framework SDK version?

Unfortunately 64 bit OS' are currently not supported as per the link below.

      Hi thanks

Yes, I have installed SDK for Dot Net frame work 2.0 (that is how I was able to change the trust setting of intra net.)

If My Vista is able to edit and compile all the script, it means NT can access all the indicators and stragy files without any problem.

But why not possible just to load them into chart?

(I got error message on log , unable to create instance of Ninja trader "ZigZag". blah blah )

      Thanks

Unfortunately I am not sure what might be causing this. I can only suggest to install NinjaTrader on a 32 bit OS, which is supported.

Not trying to be funny. But I got data connection error with yahoo data feed after I installed NT to 32 bit Window XP.

Tried all sort of things. but keep getting error saying Input string was not in correct format.

I got this same message when I tried to import historical data too using historical data from yahoo website manually.

I can't get any further. What should I do?

          Thanks
