click on minimized window, nothing happens

Hi.

Using windows xp.

Sometimes clicking on a minimized chart, etc. does not bring it to the front. Right click >> Restore will do it though.

However clicking on the Control Center always works.

Is this a feature?

Hi Danedo, thanks for the post - I have not noticed it as I'm on vista...is this a 32 or 64 bit XP?

I am running a 32bit version.

I tried it on my XP machine and could not reproduce it, can you try to reinstall your .NET framework and see if this makes a difference - if not I would appreciate taking a look at your workspace files, please forward them to support at ninjatrader dot com Attn Bertrand - Thanks!

I have experienced this same thing fairly regularly as well.

I never brought it up as it's just as easy to right-click>>restore, as you said.

Just thought I'd throw it out there that you're not the only one.

just another ninja user here. I run into the same stuff. I have sent in several emails to support in regards to minimizing "allways on top" issues and can't seem to ever get a staight answer. It's not only that but all sequences of swithing screens, you never know when you're gonna get hung up I'm sick of it. MaybeNT 7.0 will fix some of this. Not giving up yet.

Just because others say that they've tried to reproduce and does not come up on their end doesn't change the fact that its still occuring. And certantly is not fixing it!

Guys, there is a known issue with NT forms with a link button on with XP which basically would prevent you from restoring a minimized form from taskbar. NT7 comes with a different implementation of the link button which should work better in that regard.
