Ninja Install on Netbook
Can I run NT on one of the new NetBook laptops? They are the new tiny travel size laptops with typically 1Gb or 2Gb of memory, and running Windows XP on an Intel 1.6GHz Atom processor. I think the Atom processor is just the old 486 processors packaged to run on these new small laptops.Tags: None

I have a dual core 2.0Ghz laptop with 2GB RAM and a 7200RPM hard drive and NT 6.5 slows my computer to a crawl. I think trying to use a Netbook with NT for anything serious would be a nightmare. Wait for NT7, hopefully the delays are worth it and things are much better performance wise.
Other platforms like eSignal/AdvancedGET, MetaTrader and MetaStock are hardly noticeable resource-wise on my system and would likely run fine on a Netbook. I hear its even possible to run MetaTrader on a cell-phone, go figure.
When it comes to what matters though, NinjaTrader is the most advanced platform in my opinion, which is why, despite the obvious performance advantages of the other platforms, I couldn't think of using any other program.
