Cumulative Depth not updating

    Cumulative Depth not updating

    It appears that the cumulative depth on the sell side has stopped updating (see attachment). Is this a known issue? Thanks.

    Hi antonio, I'm not aware of any related issues - have you tried bringing up a fresh DOM? Also - on which NinjaTrader version are you?

      Using NT Version 6.5.1000.8.
      Starting a new DOM still exhibits the problem.
      I haven't tried restarting NT because I would lose some real-time data on my charts.

        Ok - is it the same for both DOMs, the Dynamic as well as the Static one?

          I don't know. When I try to open a Dynamic SuperDOM, I get a message stating that I cannot trade a futures contract in the Dynamic SuperDOM. Please use the Static SuperDOM.

            Thanks - have you tried to disable and reactivate the ShowCumulativeDepth feature in the Static one (right click in it to bring up the 'Properties' to do that)?

                Unfortunately I'm running out of ideas - please try again tomorrow with a fresh restarted NT and SuperDOM. You can also forward me your logs and trace to support at ninjatrader dot com Attn Bertrand to so I can take a look if an entry related to this documented. Thanks!

                  Bertrand, thanks for your help. My intention was to report this "bug" so that it can be resolved by your engineering group. I'm sure the issue will resolve itself once I restart NT.

                    You are welcome Antonio - for this we will need a reproducible scenario and we also would appreciate looking at the logs to investigate.

                    Which datafeed or broker connection are you using?

                      I'm using Zen-Fire.
                      I restarted NT and problem cleared itself.
                      However, it looks like the log file gets trashed upon restarting NT instead of just appending to it - not good if that's the case.

                        Thanks - there's should be logfiles present for each day the software is run, you can find them under MyDocuments > NinjaTrader 6.5 > log.
