Problem mapping to AEX (Amsterdam Index) Future

I can't get a connection via PATS to this instrument. I'm guessing it is an exchange mapping problem. Pats has this listed in the "pats" list within instrument manager as exchange "AEX" which is now part of Euronext. esignal ahs this mapped as AEX|EEI which is the symbol|suffix they use for all the Euronext exchanges.

In your list of Exchanges I can't see AEX, or Euronext listed - the closest I can get (geographically) is Belfox in your exchange list, and that won't work with either Pats or esignal.

For other Euronext instruments you use the specific (old) exchange like Liffe for FTSE, or Matif in the case of the CAC40. So following that logic is there an AEX? Could it be there, but disguised behind an abbreviation?

Is there a list of descriptions for all the exchange abbreviations in the lisyt in the instrument manager? this might help.

    thanks

The "|<exchange>" does not work for Pats, but for eSignal only.

Amsterdam exchange is not support for Pats right now. We'll look into it for next beta.

Dierk, when i connect NT to PATS I can see orders in these 'unsupported' markets such as Brent (ICE) and the AEX index in the orders tab in NT. I can also ammend and cancel these orders from NT. (These orders were crearted in Jtrader)

Is this what you would expect? It seems I can do everything but iniate the orders from NT. Please could you explain in a little more detail why this is?

        thanks

I have attached the relevant log showing these orders.

          Please see below:
          - Past adapter does not suppor AEX right now. We'll lokk into that.
          - eSignal supports AEX as per below
