    Hello,

    Thank you for your post.

    Commission can be included in your PnL calculations provided you have correctly configured NinjaTrader. Commission values can be defined for each connectivity provider per instrument and per instrument type.
    Commission values are used in the following order:
    • From the instrument if a commission value has been defined else
    • From the instrument type if a commission value has been defined else
    • No value is used since none have been defined
    Please follow the instructions below to define commission values per instrument type:Please follow the instructions below to define commission values per instrument:Critical: Ensure that 'Apply commission to PnL calculations' is enabled under Tools > Options > General tab.

      Hello,

      thanks for your answer about the commission tab.
      Anyway - I am a little unsure about the correct settings for the rates - maybe because there is no example in the mentioned tutorial:

      let assume, that the actual commissions for Stocks are:
      Minimum = 4$
      Maximum = 29$
      between is 0.1% of trade value

      --> The settings within the commission-Tab menue are:
      Stocks - Minimum commissin = 4$

      But what settings I have to use for the Commission levels, to fit the other conditions?

      Best regards
      Trendseeker

        Hi Trendseeker,

        Thank you for your post, and welcome to the forum.

        The only method for setting up commissions is based on the number of contracts. Your reference isn't to commissions based on the number of units, and thus it will not be possible.

        If we could correlate those numbers to a specific number of contracts/shares then we could set up commission levels based on that.
