Cannot set up connection for IB

    Cannot set up connection for IB

    I d/l a version of NJ from Mirus and there is no option to setup connection for IB. I have downloaded NJ again, uninstall and reinstall, but still the same result.

    Please help

    Mirus executes through Zen-Fire. You need to create an account connection for them.

      I already uninstall and reinstall NJ, and still can't do it.

        Do you wish to connect to Zen-Fire or IB?

        If Zen-Fire for example, please check under Tools > Account Connections, try adding a new a connection. Is Zen-Fire listed as an available provider?

        If yes, then you need to follow the link provided in post #2.

              Hello,

              Please alter your firewall settings so NT is allowed to access the internet. This is needed to validate your license.

              Also, are you using a live license or a license that starts with @SIM? You can see your license via: Help>License Key...

              If you see IB as a provider option, but you do not know how to set it up:

                I've the exact same problem as u with the NT download from Mirus. It doesn't show IB connection option even with re-install from NT website.

                  Not sure why you all mix up Mirus with IB. They are 2 different brokers using different datafeed.

                  Mirus uses Zen-Fire data feed

                  IB uses their own feed

                  If you downloaded NT from Mirus website you can only create an account connection for Zen-Fire and not IB.

                  However if you want to create a connection for IB, please send a note to support at ninjatrader dot com and refer to this post.

                  Put in the the subject header 'For Vince' and include the license you're using. I will follow up with instructions then.
