zenfire connection issue

    zenfire connection issue

    Support,

    When I start ninja and try to connect to zenfire, it says "connecting zenfire" and in the logs, I get the below message. It never gets connected completely to zenfire though.

    "Hosted.Adapter.OnCOnnectionStatusChangedNow: Mapping:ObjectHelper is missing Instruments_: NinjaTrader.Strategy.StrategyData"

    What does this log entry,specifically mean?

    I am on windows Vista,with Ninja 6.5.1000.8

    Support, when I click the "File-->disconnect", my zenfire connection is in gray color. Also I restarted Ninja, by File-->exit and when I try to connect to zenfire, I get the same problem. Looks like a show-stopper for me.

      Hello,

      Shut down NT via your windows Task Manager: Ctrl+Alt+Delete

      Then open it up again and try to reconnect.

        Ben,

        I was able to close Ninja by clicking File-->exit. I tried a few times to connect to my live zenfire Acct, same problem.

        Can you please tell me, what the error message signifies and why does ninja show it?

        PS: I know there is no problem with my zenfire connection,as I was able to connect to it from my old computer with Ninja 6.5.1000.4

          Hi PatientTrader, I tried my Zen connection and could also connect well, it looks like instruments mappings are not set correctly. Can you please try going to Tools > Options > Misc and to Reset your Instruments?

          Also, did you change security settings on the system that would prevent NinjaTrader from connecting successfully? I would suggest lowering those to a minimum and trying to reconnect.

            Support,

            I changed my antirvirus software,not sure why this would affect Ninja. uninstalled it and reverted back to the old one,still the same problem.


            I just tried the reset instruments also and restarted Ninja. Same problem. This is a show-stopper for me. I appreciate any urgent fix.
