Clearing previous data
Hi there Im a Ninja newbie so please forgive the basic question.I would like to know how to turn off the function that saves previous data.Every time I open my ES sim chart it shows previous data and a break line.I would just like it to begin fresh each day with no data shown.Tags: None

Thank you for your post and interest in NinjaTrader!
Please go to Tools --> Options --> Data tab and uncheck "Store real-time bar data."Ray S.NinjaTrader Customer Service

Hi thanks for the fast reply.I had already unticked that option but still when I open up my ES chart it has old candles and trades already in place.I just want a fresh clean chart for each day without the old data showing.I know its possible as I already did it on a different computer I just cant remember how I did it lol (showing my age a bit)

You likely have data already saved in your database and that is what is populating your charts. To remove this data please go to Tools->Historical Data->Delete.
