chart trader not work in live a/c

hi

when i am in sim chart trader shows my orders

when i switch to my live account there are no orders displayed on my chart...

do i need to adjust some property?

Thank you for your post.

Just to clarify, orders placed into the sim account will not show up when you choose your live account. You must place orders in your live account for them to show up.

If this is not the issue, please try the following:

Make sure you are on the latest version of NinjaTrader 6.5.1000.9. You can check under Help --> About.
If not, please download from this link: http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/do...g_software.htm

Let me know if the issue persists.

Hi

I have the latest version of ninja and i still have the problem:

I am in my live account and when i place live orders they do not appear in chart trader ie on the chart.

(fyi when i am in my sim account the sim orders appear on the chart)

[ie i am not talking about switching from my sim account (with orders) to my live account and expecting to see the sim orders.]

What happens if you submit orders in the SuperDOM when you live account is selected?

In addition, please tell me what data feed provider you are connected and what instrument/interval is selected in the chart.

i don't know i will look next time, but the orders do activate in the market

no i submit the orders in superdom

Can you verify that you are choosing your LIVE account in the "Account" drop down menu in the CHART TRADER as well as SuperDOM?
-If you do not change it from sim, your live orders will not show on the chart.

I have a similar problem, but slightly different, and only on my Vista machine. XP is okay.

If I enter orders via FX Pro, they aren't displayed on Chart Trader or the SuperDOM, although they are recorded as working Orders in the Control Center. If I enter via the DOM, the orders are displayed in Chart Trader, but not in FX Pro!

Account and strategy settings are the same in all three platforms.

Gain Demo account. NT Version 6.5.1000.9 Multi-Broker Live account.

Am I missing something? Appreciate your help.

Jason, the windows were linked okay. Over thw weekend I reinstalled NT and the problem has gone.
